Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to support Pre-Operative (PreOp) services with floating to PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) as needed. This role is ideal for a flexible, detail-oriented nurse comfortable across the perianesthesia continuum.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care in PreOp and PACU settings

  • Prepare patients for surgical procedures and assist with recovery post-anesthesia

  • Monitor patient status, vital signs, and response to anesthesia

  • Collaborate with surgical, anesthesia, and interdisciplinary teams

  • Ensure patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols

Requirements

  • Active RN License (state-specific)

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – required

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – required

  • Experience in PreOp and/or PACU strongly preferred

  • Ability to float between departments as needed
