About the Role:

The OR RN PACU - PT days role is critical in providing specialized nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia following surgical procedures. The nurse will collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive post-operative care. Responsibilities:

Requirements

 Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
  • Experience working in a post-anesthesia care unit or surgical nursing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of anesthesia recovery protocols and patient monitoring techniques.
  • Ability to work part-time day shifts as specified.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Post Anesthesia Nursing (CPAN) or Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse (CAPA).
  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and clinical documentation software.
  • Additional training or experience in pain management and patient education.
  • Demonstrated skills in teamwork and interdisciplinary communication.
  • Previous experience in a high-volume surgical center or hospital setting.
