OVERALL ROLE:
The Packing Operator works to package material into boxes and prepares materials for shipping.

 
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Pack products into boxes by following instructions.
  • Count products accurately using a counting machine.
  • Remove any damaged or defective material before packing.
  • Keep track of product counts and complete required paperwork. 
  • Report all discrepancies to a supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow company quality policy and objectives.
  • Help ensure customers receive the correct, quality products. 

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Ability to learn how to use counting meters and change core sizes.
  • Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 pounds. 
  • Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail.
