Schedule

Training Schedule

  • Monday – Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM
  • Schedule may vary based on training and operational needs

Regular Production Schedule

  • Monday – Wednesday
  • Three 12.5-hour shifts per week

Shift differential pay will be applied as follows: employees will receive an additional $1.50 per hour for hours worked between 6:00 p.m. and 11:59 p.m., and an additional $2.50 per hour for hours worked between 12:00 a.m. and 5:59 a.m.

Position Summary

We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Packers to join our production team in Vineland, NJ. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring products are packed according to customer specifications while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, product quality, and workplace cleanliness.

This position plays a critical role in both the front and back areas of the packaging line, inspecting product quality, monitoring specifications, and ensuring proper packaging procedures are followed.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Inspection & Quality Control
  • Inspect products to ensure they meet customer specifications
  • Remove and discard any products that do not meet quality standards
  • Ensure deposited product on production trays meets established specifications for formed raw dough
  • Measure and inspect 4 product pieces every 15 minutes for length and weight
  • Record measurements and weights accurately using Minitab
  • Notify supervisors and production staff of any product specification issues
  • Report any foreign materials, dirt, or debris immediately
  • Record downtime and production interruptions as required
Packing Responsibilities
  • Ensure packed product meets customer and quality specifications
  • Verify correct product counts in each box
  • Pack products into the correct packaging using appropriate liners and materials
  • Report packaging or product issues to the Supervisor, Line Leader, or QC Technician
General Production Duties
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Perform sanitation tasks during shutdowns or plant downtime
  • Follow all company safety procedures, GMPs, and food safety standards
  • Complete additional duties as assigned by leadership
QualificationsEducation
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
Experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in food manufacturing preferred
Knowledge & Skills
  • Understanding of food safety standards including HACCP, GMPs, and BRC
  • Ability to read and understand MSDS documentation
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • Strong communication skills for reporting quality concerns
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
  • Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and use lifts as needed
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Exposure to noise, cold temperatures, and flour-filled environments
  • Ability to lift and move product as required
