Job Description
Kitchen Prep/Packing
This position will work primarily out of our commissary kitchen but will be on call from the kitchen.
Duties:
  • Help with kitchen prep and production
  • Packing truck with delivery items
  • Checking and confirming delivery items
  • Deliveries in and around Chicago
  • Basic food prep
  • Portioning a variety of food items
  • Preparing meals for service at schools

Job Details
  • Hours: 6am - 2pm (part-time to full-time)
  • Days: Monday - Friday
  • Location: Goose Island
  • Start: Immediately

Requirements
  • SafeServ certification is a bonus
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Applicant must be reliable, punctual, presentable, as well as attention to detail and timeliness.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation requirements preferable
  • Fluent in English (bi-lingual in Spanish a plus)
  • Strong communication skills
