Weโ€™re currently seeking a detail-oriented, dependable individual for the part-time Insect Packing Technician position in our Insect Department (Durand). As an Insect team member, youโ€™ll play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive healthy, properly packed insects on time. Your primary responsibilities will include packing insect units efficiently and accurately, creating and maintaining fruit fly cultures, receiving cricket deliveries, managing inventory, and using web-based software to manage stock and labeling.

This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working hands-on in a fast-paced production environment and is comfortable working around live insects. If you take pride in quality, consistency, and supporting your team, youโ€™ll thrive with Joshโ€™s Frogs!

  • Full-time (40 hours per week), Sunday through Tuesday (8:30 AM to 5 PM)
  • $16.00/hour starting wages
  • This position requires the use of a respirator, as well as completion of respirator fit testing and respirator safety training in accordance with OSHA standards

For This Position, You MUST Possess:

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Full dexterity in arms and hands
  • Love of repetition
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to wear a respirator and pass required testing
