Job description

West Coast Floral is looking for a reliable and hardworking Order Fulfillment Assistant to join our warehouse team. This position works closely with the Order Fulfillment Supervisor to prepare, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently.

The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, work well as part of a team, and help maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment. As our company continues to grow, there will be plenty of opportunities for motivated team members to learn new skills, take on additional responsibilities, and advance within the companyย 

Full-Time Position Monday- Friday 8:00-4:30pm

Responsibilitiesย 

  • Assist on the packing line with packing and shipping plantsย 
  • Pull small ceramic pots and other products for customer orders
  • Prepare orders carefully and accurately for shipment
  • Follow instructions provided by the Order Fulfillment Supervisorย 
  • Perform general housekeeping and warehouse duties
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
  • Assist other departments when needed
  • Handle products and equipment safely and responsiblyย 
  • Communicate respectfully and professionally with customers, suppliers, supervisors, and fellow team members
  • Follow all workplace Health and Safety procedures

Qualificationsย 

  • No experience necessary
  • Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn
  • Positive, respectful, and professional attitudeย 
  • Able to follow directions and work well with others
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a busy warehouse environmentย 
  • Able to perform physical duties such as standing, bending, reaching, and moving products throughout the shift
  • Previous warehouse, packing, or shipping experience is an asset but not required

Forklift training is available in-house for suitable team members.
