Job Title: Production Worker / Material Handler

Job Description

This role supports the shipping and receiving department by handling materials, picking and packing orders, and maintaining accurate inventory. You will work with warehouse equipment, computers, and RF scanners to process products efficiently and accurately, while cross-training in multiple departments to support overall production and logistics operations.

Responsibilities

  • Handle materials in the shipping and receiving department, ensuring products move efficiently through the warehouse.
  • Pick and pack orders accurately according to work instructions and inventory records.
  • Perform inventory control tasks, including counting, tracking, and verifying stock levels.
  • Use warehouse equipment to pick inventory and move materials as needed.
  • Label boxes clearly and correctly to support accurate shipping and storage.
  • Assemble and kit parts according to specifications and production requirements.
  • Operate computers and RF scanners to process orders, update inventory, and record transactions.
  • Lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds safely and consistently throughout the shift.
  • Follow detailed instructions and maintain high attention to detail in all tasks.
  • Participate in cross-training across different departments to support a flexible and efficient operation.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production and shipping deadlines.
  • Attend and successfully complete an interview with supervisors prior to assignment.

Essential Skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
