Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Packer/Production Worker to join our manufacturing team. This role involves preparing products for shipment, ensuring packaging standards are met, and supporting overall production operations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality manufacturing processes while developing skills in packaging, materials handling, and equipment troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Pack finished products according to specified standards and procedures
  • Operate industrial equipment and hand tools safely and effectively
  • Handle materials and supplies within the warehouse or production area
  • Assist with assembly tasks as needed to support production flow
  • Conduct mechanical troubleshooting on packaging machinery and industrial equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with safety standards
  • Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and FDA regulations to ensure product integrity
  • Use forklifts and other warehouse equipment responsibly for materials movement
  • Perform heavy lifting safely when required during packing or inventory tasks
  • Support quality control by inspecting products for defects or inconsistencies
Duties
The Packer/Production Worker will be responsible for executing a variety of essential tasks to support manufacturing operations:
  • Carefully pack products using appropriate packaging materials, ensuring protection during transit
  • Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to monitor and control machinery functions
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues on packaging lines or industrial equipment promptly to minimize downtime
  • Maintain compliance with safety standards in production areas, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Assist with inventory management by handling materials accurately and efficiently
  • Utilize hand tools for minor repairs or adjustments on equipment or packaging components
  • Support manufacturing facility protocols by adhering to GMP, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice), and FDA regulations
  • Collaborate with team members across departments to meet production schedules and quality expectations
Qualifications
Candidates should possess a combination of technical skills, manufacturing experience, and safety awareness:
  • Prior experience in manufacturing facilities, preferably involving packaging or assembly processes
  • Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment effectively
  • Familiarity with GMP, CGMP, FDA regulations, and safety standards in production environments
  • Experience operating forklifts and handling warehouse logistics is advantageous

Schedule & Pay
  • Starts at 8 am and ends when work is complete (Usually 12+ hour shifts)
  • Will have one weekend day and one in week day off
  • Starts at $14
