WHO YOU ARE

The Distribution Operator 4 - Trainer is responsible for operating a forklift, electric pallet jack, reach truck, other material handling equipment for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, stocking and counting merchandise in accordance to production standards. All associates must be able to cross train in all core distribution functions including unloading, put away, picking, replenishing, loading, small parcel area, rework, returns, display building, and possess basic WMS skills.

WHERE YOU WILL WORK

This is an on-site position, working at our Reno, NV facility Monday through Friday.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform required Distribution Operator 4/Trainer duties and core distribution functions including partial picking, full picking, loading, unloading, replenishment and put away, also including hand unloading import containers and assisting with projects as assigned.

  • Ensures the hand-held terminals are maintained and fully charged, ready to update and download in a timely manner
  • Ensures that all receiving and/or shipping data entry is completed. Takes daily counts of inventory and assures mis-picks are accounted for.
  • Prepares all shipping and/or receiving documents accurately and in a timely manner
  • Schedules inbound and/or outbound appointments with carriers 
  • Document any and all discrepancies with paperwork on inbound and/or outbound shipments, notify supervisor on discrepancies
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to multitask
  • Strong communication skills for internal and external customers
  • Regularly performs job duties at a rapid pace
  • Follow all safety policies & procedures; including, but not limited to wearing all required personal protective equipment (PPE).

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least two of the three stand up forklift certifications (walkie rider, pacer and or reach truck)
  • RF scanning device experience and/or training or equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Must pass and maintain industrial lift truck certifications
