The Role

We are seeking a Packing Operator to join our P&H Milling team. This role will support the operations, performing their duties in a safe and timely manner

Day to Day
  • Weigh, pack and load flour products in a safe manner
  • Operate tote filling and packer systems, and stretch wrap machines
  • Maintain a clean work area by performing ongoing sanitation duties throughout the plant as required
  • Adhere to all health and safety training requirements including completing all health and safety training relating to the role
  • Perform additional plant duties as required and assigned by the Production Supervisor
  • Complete and comply with all health, safety and food safety training relating to the job. 
  • Perform other operations duties as required and assigned by Warehouse Supervisor. 
What You’ll Bring:
  • Previous experience in a general labourer position. 
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment. 
  • Ability to operate a forklift and obtain a valid Forklift license. 
  • Physically fit with the ability to safely lift and stack 25 kg bags. 
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and problem-solving skills. 
  • Reliable and dependable with an ability to work shiftwork, overtime and weekends as require. 
  • Able to work in environments subject to dust allergens and higher temperatures as well as in all outside weather conditions
