Job description

Position Summary

RIM Alliance is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Warehouse Technician to support the daily operations of our aircraft parts distribution facility. This position is responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, picking, packing, shipping, and transporting aircraft parts and equipment while maintaining inventory accuracy and compliance with company and aviation industry standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, physically capable, and experienced operating warehouse equipment and commercial vehicles.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming aircraft parts and materials.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment accurately and efficiently.
  • Load and unload trucks using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
  • Safely transport inventory between facilities or customer locations as needed.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management software and computer systems.
  • Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventories.
  • Inspect shipments for damage and verify quantities against packing slips and purchase orders.
  • Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and security.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of aircraft components to prevent damage.
  • Follow all OSHA, DOT, FAA, and company safety procedures.
  • Assist with receiving, shipping, stocking, and general warehouse operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum of one (1) year of warehouse experience.
  • Forklift operating experience.
  • Valid driver's license with some Commercial truck driving experience.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and inventory or warehouse management software.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Physical Requirements
  • Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 pounds without assistance.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, climb, and reach throughout the workday.
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to handle aircraft parts and operate warehouse
  • equipment.

    Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with aviation or aerospace parts.
  • Experience with inventory management systems or ERP software.
  • Forklift certification (or ability to obtain certification upon hire).
  • Knowledge of shipping carriers, freight documentation, and hazardous material
  • shipping procedures.

    Work Environment

    This position is performed in a warehouse environment with frequent exposure to moving equipment, loading docks, and varying temperatures. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is required as applicable.
