Scope:
This position will be responsible for multiple functions of Manufacturing, Assembly and Logistics including movement and tracking of serialized product, and Machine operations. Candidate able to teach and train process and procedures and can work independently or with a team.
Potential job duties include:
Perform a sequence of operations to ensure that quality products are produced and meet customer demand. Operate production machines, assemble product, trim, inspect, pack, count, weld, test and print to meet customer requirements. Unload, receive, material/inventory movement, picking, packing, shipping, and load outbound shipments. Proficient in multiple functional areas. Perform simple operations, change tooling and adjust assigned machine or multiple machines that perform operations such as drilling, milling, broaching, stamping, grinding, sawing, shaping, filing, sanding or media-blasting, and special purpose machining.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED minimum General knowledge of machining techniques 1-5 years' experience in one or more areas below preferred Manufacturing Powered Industrial Truck operation WMS/WM experience Machinist experience
Competencies and Skills:
Attention to detail Excellent interpersonal (written and verbal) communication skills (Working command of English language -read, write, interpret English) Count and maintain inventory Ability to work independently or with a team Self-motivated Follow standard operating and compliance procedures Regular attendance (as defined in our policies) is required. Computer literate in Microsoft Office -- Excel, Word, SAP Powered Industrial Truck Certification Ability to follow and teach precise processes Prioritize tasks and be able to switch tasks as needed Ability to read and interpret drawings, follow routers, use simple math to perform calculations, and use basic and advanced measuring tools.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Follow all safety and EH&S requirements. Use proper personal protective equipment. Keep machine guards and other safety devices in place at all times. Practice good housekeeping and 5S. Keep work area and equipment clean, safe and orderly. Safely handle and transport materials, parts, supplies, etc., within department or cross-department. Organize serial number audits/counts as required Perform other miscellaneous job duties and related functions as directed by Supervisor Conduct accurate product counts, label, weigh parts and box finished products Work to meet or exceed schedule/job standard and quality requirements. Accurately complete production paperwork, batch tickets, other required paperwork Provide suggestions and feedback to management. Ensure compliance with customer and business requirements Utilize technology within Operation (i.e. RF units or computer terminals). Performing any and all required system transactions Maintain inventory accuracy by physical, and electronic Complete tasks within specified timeframe Maintain single-piece flow maintaining a clean work space Follow Lean initiative and participate in continuous improvement activities Collaborate with co-workers, supervisors, and personnel for a smooth workflow Report machine, tooling, equipment, and material problems to supervisor or QC Read, comprehend and perform visual inspection per specific job instructions Cross Train in various departments throughout Operations. Perform cycle counts, including investigating discrepancies Certify on, operate and maintain powered industrial to a clean and ready state for operations, including required safety inspections Operate machine or group of machines and adjust as needed to maintain tolerances. Remove and replace cutters, tooling, etc., and re-adjust machine to bring part into gage. Perform prescribed preventative maintenance (PM) on machines as required per the PM charts. Gauge all parts at frequency specified, using the appropriate gage or measuring device. Regularly calibrate precision measuring devices to assure proper measurements. Provide guidance, training and mentoring to Team Member I and temporary staff Investigate issues and solve complex problems Advanced order fulfillment activities using company systems and following business processes. Includes allocation, picking, packing, prepping, rating, shipping, loading trucks etc. Labeling, scanning, receiving, and unloading products from containers, truckload, parcel, and internal transfer (including serialized product) General Warehousing, movement of inventory physically and systematically. Accurately storing, tracking, counting Prepping, Staging, Wrapping, etc. for customer orders Support dock operations including truck loading.

Work Environment and Personal Protective Equipment:
Within any of our facilities, employees may be exposed to manufacturing noise, airborne liquid chemicals, fine particulate dust, ambient temperatures, and industrial lighting. Work environment is similar to most manufacturing and distribution operations. May be exposed to excessive noise, temperatures, hazards associated with working around moving machinery, work in confined quarters, exposure to vibrations and shop lighting, continuous exposure to hot temperatures, may be humid, odors, dust, continuous exposure to mechanical hazards, and occasional exposure to chemical hazards.
The following Personal Protective Equipment is required:
