Description DESCRIPTION:Supervisor for the 1st shift fabrication department. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum High School diploma or GED equivalent Minimum 1-2years'background experience in packing house (beef preferred) to learn about the various products that are produced Knowledge of products and their specifications is essential. Communication skills Ability to motivate workers Bilingual important, but not mandatory as long as translators are in line area.RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for overseeing a group of employees within a safe and professional setting. Insure proper communication and feedback between their team and upper management. Guiding their team through daily tasks and monitoring their performance to ensure maximum productivity. Responsible for meeting product specifications, quality, yields, and following the production schedule. Work with trainers with onboarding of new hires to make sure they understand their roles. Insure area is properly staffed according to departments crewing standards to meet production needs. Keep up with all weekly meetings, monthly safety meetings, and all yearly trainings required by JBS for their team. Job performance will be measured by the Superintendents and General Foreman bases on KPI?s. Understand and adhere to all company and union regulations in regard to hourly employees. Attend daily supervisor meetings. Responsible for completing all audits, safety/PPE checks, and touch and goes as required by JBS. Directly responsible for discipline procedures with hourly employees on the line. These may range from verbal warnings to terminations.EOE, including disability/vets
