Description
Summary:
The material handler III obtains product to be processed. Brings packing materials to product line and removes unused materials. Scans items into work order and scans finished products into QAD system. The material handler III drives standup and/or sit-down forklift and completes all work order reporting, as needed.
Functions Of The Position:
  • Drives stand-up and/or sit-down forklift to move product from staging line to production line.
  • Makes pallet ID labels. Completes work order reporting, as needed.
  • Completes daily check of PIT equipment to maintain safety.
  • Responsible for the accurate use and proper care of hand-held scanning equipment.
  • Assists other material handlers/scanners as needed.
  • Assists machine operators and supervisors as needed.
  • Maintains clean work area.
Qualifications:
  • Sit-down forklift experience is required.
  • Level III power equipment license (JBSS) required
  • Able to speak, write, and read English/Basic.
  • Math skills required
  • Must have good manual dexterity and vision
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 60 pounds
