Position Summary

The Packout Manager leads all contents operations for residential and commercial losses, ensuring accurate inventory, packing, cleaning, storage, and packback services. This role manages crews, ensures documentation quality, and drives strong customer and carrier satisfaction. Ideal for someone who is highly organized, operationally strong, and motivated by long-term growth, including the opportunity to pursue ownership or co-ownership within an expanding branch structure.


Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all packout operations, including on-site inventory, packing, transporting, cleaning, storage, and packback.
  • Manage and train packout technicians; assign daily tasks and ensure high standards of performance and accountability.
  • Perform detailed inventory using software such as JobNimbus, Encircle, ContentsTrack, or similar systems.
  • Ensure accurate documentation, including photos, item notes, non-restorable lists, chain-of-custody, and customer signatures.
  • Coordinate closely with mitigation, reconstruction, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth workflow and proper storage handling.
  • Communicate proactively with customers, insurance adjusters, vendors, and internal departments.
  • Oversee warehouse organization, cleaning processes, ozone treatments, and item tracking.
  • Maintain company equipment, vehicles, storage areas, and ensure safety standards are followed.
  • Review job budgets, profit margins, labor utilization, and performance KPIs.
  • Contribute to process improvements, SOP development, and operational scaling.
  • Ownership-track duty: Participate in strategic planning, operational forecasting, and branch growth initiatives as part of the ownership evaluation pathway

Requirements

Qualifications
  • 2-4+ years of contents, packout, warehouse management, inventory, or restoration experience.
  • Previous leadership or supervisor experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Tech-savvy with restoration or inventory software preferred (Encircle, ContentsTrack, JobNimbus, MICA).
  • Ability to manage teams, delegate, and coach technicians effectively.
  • Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs, move furniture, work in various environments, and manage physical aspects of packout operations.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
