Warehouse AssociateJob Description

The Warehouse Associate plays a key role in accurately picking, packing, and shipping customer orders within a fast‑paced distribution center. This position involves material handling, operating basic warehouse equipment, and using warehouse management systems to ensure timely and precise order fulfillment while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Order Fulfillment — Pick, pack, wrap, label, and ship customer orders with speed and accuracy, including lifting up to 50 lbs as needed.
  • Material Handling — Stand, bend, and lift for 8–10 hours per shift while moving products throughout the warehouse.
  • Shipping Accuracy — Ensure all outbound shipments have correct labeling, packaging, and documentation.
  • RF Scanning — Use handheld RF scanners and WMS systems to locate, pick, and process inventory.
  • Inventory Control — Count, scan, and verify items to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Equipment Operation — Safely operate pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment.
  • Safety Compliance — Follow all safety procedures in a large distribution center environment.
  • Team Collaboration — Work with coworkers and supervisors to meet productivity and quality goals.
  • Work Area Maintenance — Keep workstations clean, organized, and efficient throughout the shift.
Essential Skills
  • Experience in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.
  • Proficiency using RF scan guns for picking, packing, and inventory tasks.
  • Ability to use computers and navigate WMS systems.
  • Ability to understand written and verbal English instructions.
  • Ability to stand, bend, and lift continuously for 8–10 hours.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs when required.
  • Experience operating pallet jacks or similar equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail for accurate picking, packing, labeling, and documentation.
  • Reliability and punctuality to support consistent operations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • 2+ years of detailed packaging experience preferred.
  • 1+ year of retail experience preferred.
  • 1+ year of high‑volume packing experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in order picking, packing, and inventory control.
  • Comfort using handheld RF scanners and warehouse technology.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Work Environment

  • Schedule: Sunday–Wednesday, 5:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
  • No shift starts on Mondays or Fridays
  • Steel‑toe shoes required

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
