    An experiencedNetwork Operations Analyst - Cisco

The Work:

  • As a senior network analyst, you will act as the level 3 engineer supporting a client with global operations. You will advise the client in complex issues, architectural recommendations, and mentor junior staff. Implement SD-WAN, remote access, and hybrid connectivity (IPSec/SSL, MPLS, ExpressRoute/Direct Connect). Automate configuration and compliance checks with Ansible/Python; manage golden configs and CI pipelines. Lead P1/P2 network incidents, perform packet captures, and drive RCA with corrective actions. Define monitoring KPIs, telemetry, and synthetic tests; maintain runbooks and topology diagrams. Collaborate with Cloud/Security teams on service onboarding and resilience patterns; support DR testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ability to work shifts/on-call; comfort working on-site in high-security environments.
  • Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes).
  • Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for software solutions/vendors/brands.
  • Work includes L2/L3 support including advanced and expert troubleshooting of Data Network Technologies
  • Working with cloud architects and infrastructure teams to evaluate application and technology landscape
  • Understanding cloud and network best practices combined with guiding principles
  • Adapts existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems.
  • Understands the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals.
  • Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor. May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture.

This role will require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office.

  • WHO WERE LOOKING FOR?

    • Bachelors degree in related field.

    • Over 2-3 years of experience in key routing and switching concepts (such as but not limited to trunking, ether-channel, BGP, IS-IS, L2 Security Concepts, VRFs)

    • Familiarization with the following concepts/technologies: DDI, Virtualization, SD-WAN, SD-Access, WLAN administration, SASE, and SD-DC

    • Strong written and verbal communications with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to a nontechnical audience

    • Eligibility for Reliability Security Clearance (resided in Canada for the past five years)

Certifications:

  • Current Cisco CCNP Enterprise or equivalent (CCIE is a plus)
