Job Description
 
The main function of a Packer II is to pack or package, measure, mix, and blend raw materials for appropriate batches.
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Mark and label containers, container tags, or products, using marking tools.
  • Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
  • Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure that packing specifications are met.
  • Remove completed or defective products or materials, placing them on moving equipment such as conveyors or in specified areas such as loading docks.
  • Load materials and products into package processing equipment.
Qualifications and Requirements:
 
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Basic computer skills, Verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Minimum of 2yrs Sit-Down and Stand-Up Forklift Experience. Reach Truck and Cherry Picker experience a plus.
  • Minimum of 2yrs of Picking, Packing, Loading, and Unloading experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
