What is a packer shipper?

Packer Shippers are workers responsible for preparing products for shipment by carefully packing items into boxes or containers, labeling them, and ensuring they are ready for transport. They check products for damage, verify order details, and often handle shipping documentation. Packer Shippers play a crucial role in warehouses, distribution centers, and manufacturing facilities to ensure that customers receive the correct items in good condition. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently are key qualities for this role.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a packer shipper, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Packer Shipper, you need attention to detail, basic math skills, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanners, and packaging equipment is typically required.
