Job description

2nd shift Loader/ Unloader (Inbound & Outbound)


Location: Ellabell, GA

Pay Rate: $18.00/hour

Position Type: Temp-to-Hire


  • Sunday – Thursday: 6:00PM – 3:00 AM
  • (Must train for one day 2:00pm to 10:00pm)

Mandatory overtime is currently required on occasions. Applicants must be flexible to work overtime as scheduled.


Job Summary

We are seeking dependable and hardworking Unloaders/Material Handlers to support inbound and outbound warehouse operations. This position is responsible for loading and unloading freight, wrapping pallets, and accurately moving materials in a fast-paced distribution environment.


Responsibilities
  • Load and unload inbound and outbound freight safely and efficiently.
  • Lift and move materials weighing 75+ pounds on a consistent basis.
  • Wrap pallets to prepare shipments for storage or transportation.
  • Use an RF scanner to accurately track inventory and shipments.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies.
  • Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.


Qualifications
  • Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
  • Experience using an RF scanner is required.
  • Experience operating aStand-up Forklift, Reach Truck, Cherry Picker, or Electric Pallet Jack is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable attendance and dependable transportation are required.
  • Team-oriented with a positive work ethic.


Physical Requirements
  • Ability to consistently lift 75+ pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, and lift throughout a 10-hour shift.
  • Must be comfortable working in a physically demanding warehouse environment.
