This role focuses on accurately packing, labeling, and staging plastic parts and related products according to specifications while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work area. You will perform visual inspections, handle materials, and support overall production flow in a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail and consistent, dependable performance.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect plastic parts for defects and verify that products meet quality specifications, rejecting items that do not meet standards.
  • Pack, seal, and label boxes accurately according to work instructions and customer requirements.
  • Palletize and stage finished products for shipment, ensuring proper placement, stability, and identification.
  • Use basic tools such as tape guns, box cutters, and hand pallet jacks safely and correctly during packing and material handling tasks.
  • Record production counts on travelers, labels, or through simple computer or scanner entries to maintain accurate inventory and production data.
  • Perform order picking and material handling tasks to support production and shipping activities.
  • Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed to keep production and shipping operations running smoothly.
  • Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and safety guidelines to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of debris to support efficient workflow and safety.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and support production flow by performing general labor and assembly tasks as assigned.
  • Remain on task in a fast-paced environment, completing repetitive duties with consistent accuracy and quality.
  • Be willing to work overtime and occasional weekends when production demands require it.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sparta, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
