What is a packer?

Packers are workers responsible for preparing products for shipment by packaging them securely, labeling them correctly, and ensuring they meet quality standards. They typically work in warehouses, factories, or distribution centers and handle a variety of goods, from food items to manufactured products. Their job involves inspecting items for damage, using packing materials to protect goods, and sometimes operating machinery to seal or move packages. Packers play a crucial role in ensuring that products reach customers in perfect condition.

What does a packer do?

As a Packer, your daily routine typically involves preparing orders for shipment by securely packing products, labeling packages, and verifying order accuracy against invoices or pick lists. You'll work closely with warehouse associates, supervisors, and sometimes shipping/receiving personnel to ensure an efficient workflow.
