In this role, you'll operate case packing and tray packing equipment while supporting safety, quality, and productivity throughout each production run.
What You'll Do
  • Operate assigned equipment, including the Hamrick case packer, Zambelli multi-packer, and Zambelli tray packer, in a safe, sanitary, and productive manner.
  • Maintain acceptable standards of output and quality from assigned equipment.
  • Tear down, set up, and operate equipment efficiently and safely.
  • Verify correct product and packaging specifications for each production run.
  • Assist in other areas as needed to help keep the line running efficiently.
  • Communicate regularly with line personnel to support line efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot issues as they arise and make minor equipment adjustments to maintain efficiency and quality.
  • Log equipment downtime and assist with line changeovers.
  • Observe and report major equipment issues to your supervisor.
  • Follow company policies, safety rules, Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, ISO9001 procedures, and customer operating requirements.
  • Work productively without direct supervision while maintaining a positive attitude and strong working relationships with supervisors and coworkers.
  • Assist with additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

Work Environment
