Summary
The Logistics Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations of the transportation and logistics team. This includes coordinating with vendors, managing the scheduling of shipments, ensuring compliance with regulations, and leading a team of logistics coordinators. The Logistics Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring efficient and effective logistics operations to meet customer needs.
Duties and Responsibilities
• To supervise the team in the daily release schedules that each client has.
• Create an effective packing schedule based on routine shipments for cut offs and monitor these closely with the help of the Packing Coordinator.
• To communicate with the Air and Ocean freight supervisors to continually monitor shipments and timelines for cut offs for packing to be worked on to best utilize the warehouse packing operations.
• Communicate with the Packing Coordinator to ensure that all Material Receipts are completed within KPI's.
• Prioritize the workload based on schedules and cut offs.
• Monitor the workload during the day and ensure all issues are dealt with in a timely and effective manner by the Packing Coordinator.
• Monitor overtime and ensure that if worked, it is 100% billed back to the client where possible.
• Instrumental in the training of the Packing Coordinator, especially cross training of the accounts.
• Run the packed not billed report daily/weekly to ensure that all freight packed in a calendar month is billed for in a timely manner.
• Ensure that the Packing Coordinator is running reports based on the data in C2C including Receiving, Material Receipt, Packing and Delivery Reports daily.
• Organize weekly meetings within their team to provide feedback and upcoming issues for customer needs and team members.
• Closely working with warehouse staff to resolve any pending customer/vendor issues, to include walks out in the warehouse if needed.
Educational background / Work experience
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics and transportation operations, with at least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.

For this position, the expected base pay range is $69,696 - $87,120 Annual. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
