Packer/warehouse

Location: Romeo
Pay Rate: $17.00/hour
Shift: 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)

Primary Responsibilities
  • Transfer bulk pet treat products from master cartons or pallets into retail packaging.
  • Accurately count and weigh products according to packaging specifications.
  • Apply product labels to retail bags, ensuring proper placement and accuracy.
  • Operate heat-sealing equipment to securely seal retail bags.
  • Inspect finished packages for quality, including correct product count, label placement, seal quality, and overall presentation.
  • Pack finished retail bags into shipping cartons according to customer requirements.
  • Assemble and tape shipping cartons.
  • Stack completed cartons onto pallets following pallet configuration guidelines.
  • Wrap finished pallets for storage or shipment.
  • Maintain accurate product counts and minimize waste throughout the packaging process.
  • Keep workstations clean, organized, and compliant with food safety and warehouse standards.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties and other packaging projects as assigned.
Requirements
  • Ability to stand and work on your feet for an entire shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds on a regular basis.
