About the Role
Once the holiday season hits, our stores move fast and it all starts in the warehouse. Alabama Outdoors is looking for a dependable, hardworking Warehouse Helper/Assistant to join our team for the busy Q4 season. This full-time, seasonal role is essential to keeping product moving-from the moment it arrives at our warehouse to the moment it lands on the shelf at one of our local stores.
What You'll Do
  • Receive incoming product shipments, verifying counts, and checking for damage against packing slips and purchase orders.
  • Unload, sort, and stage inventory in the warehouse in an organized and efficient manner.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing shipments and store transfers.
  • Load and deliver product to local Alabama Outdoors store locations on a set route.
  • Safely lift, carry, and move boxes and merchandise, including heavier items, throughout each shift.
  • Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
  • Assist with inventory counts and stock organization as needed.
  • Support other warehouse and logistics tasks as assigned, especially during peak holiday volume.

What We're Looking For
  • Ability to regularly lift and carry boxes up to 50 lbs, and occasionally more with assistance.
  • Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting for the majority of a shift.
  • Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and team-first attitude.
  • Ability to follow instructions and safely operate basic warehouse equipment (training provided).
  • Availability to work full-time hours through the Q4 season, including flexibility during peak weeks.
  • Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or delivery experience is a plus, but not required.
  • A valid driver's license is helpful for the delivery portion of this role but is not required to apply.

Schedule
This is a full-time seasonal position. Exact shift schedule will be discussed at the time of hire and may include early mornings and occasional Saturdays to keep up with holiday shipping and receiving volume.
Compensation: $14.00 per hour
