Job description

Izzio Bakery, located in Louisville and Thornton, Colorado, is a growing artisan bakery. With our rapid expansion, we're bringing new members into our bakery family!
Production:
Oven : (Industrial ovens, not domestic or kitchen ovens) They organize the racks to ensure the bread is baked to perfection and that the oven area is kept tidy at all times. They clean the proofing boards and sweep the oven area to prevent flour buildup. They assist in production by resetting the proofing boards as needed and help with loading and unloading the bread as directed by the oven area lead.
Line Workers: They properly arrange the shaped dough on boards and trays. They help organize carts, boards, and trays as needed to meet production timelines. They assist in the dough process as required to stay on schedule. They clean the work area between different types of dough to maintain a clean and organized production environment. They also contribute to daily cleaning and maintenance of the production area.
Packaging:
Packers: They perform tasks such as packing bread and baked goods in specific configurations, labeling, and packing items into bags or boxes. They ensure that the product count in each box is accurate and that all packed products meet the established quality standards for finished goods.
Sanitation:
Sanitation Worker: Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all areas and equipment in the facility in compliance with the company's hygiene policies and procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and safety requirements.
Requirements
Job & Physical Requirements:
The ideal candidate must be able to perform the following tasks for a prolonged period of time:
  • Stand for extended periods.
  • Lift, manipulate, or transport objects up to 50 lbs. Frequent lift/pull/push more than 50lbs mechanical or team assisted.
  • Handle heavy equipment such as pans, tubs, bins, mixing bowls, and other industrial equipment.
  • Work for extended periods in environments with airborne flour dust, extreme heat, loud and continuous noise.
  • Maintain composure in a fast-paced, high-energy setting near hot areas, steam exhaust ports, high-traffic areas, fast-moving powered industrial trucks, and other employees.
  • Work from ladders and lifts. Some areas may get wet and slippery.
  • Lean over work surfaces while bending at the waist for extended periods.
  • Work near, around, over, and under fixed equipment and machinery, including conveyor belts and other moving parts.
  • Simultaneously operate multiple controls and machinery.
  • Perform detailed tasks requiring manual dexterity while using sharp tools.
  • Understand and adhere to all safety protocols and standards.
  • You must possess at least 6 months' work in an industrial manufacturing setting.
