Job Title: Warehouse WorkerJob Description

This role supports a high-volume warehouse operation that refurbishes and prepares car key fobs for resale. You will work across various departments, including receiving and sorting, technology-focused areas that reprogram key fob computers, production and assembly for replacing small parts, order picking, packaging, and shipping. The position offers exposure to multiple functions within the warehouse and the opportunity to move into a permanent role.

Responsibilities
  • Perform general warehouse duties across multiple departments, including receiving, sorting, assembly, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Support the receiving process by unloading, sorting, and organizing incoming key fobs and related materials.
  • Carry out sorting tasks to ensure products are categorized accurately and prepared for further processing.
  • Work in technology-based departments to assist with reprogramming key fob computers as directed and following established procedures.
  • Participate in production and assembly activities, including replacing small parts on key fobs with attention to detail and quality.
  • Pick orders accurately according to specifications, ensuring the correct items and quantities are selected.
  • Pack and package products securely and efficiently to prepare them for shipment and distribution.
  • Inspect products and materials for quality, damage, and accuracy before they move to the next stage of processing or shipping.
  • Assist with warehouse distribution tasks, including staging, organizing, and moving inventory within the facility.
  • Support shipping operations by preparing orders for dispatch, labeling packages, and coordinating with shipping processes.
  • Operate as a utility worker, flexing between departments and tasks based on daily operational needs.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with warehouse safety guidelines.
  • Lift and move items up to 20 lbs as part of daily warehouse activities.
  • Be open to working in any warehouse department, with final department placement determined after the first day based on fit and operational needs.
  • Participate in voluntary overtime opportunities when available to support peak workloads and production goals.
Essential Skills
  • 1–3 years of warehouse experience in roles such as picking, packing, sorting, receiving, shipping, or assembly.
  • Proven ability to perform core warehouse functions, including order picking, packaging, sorting, and distribution activities.
  • Experience working in a warehouse environment with tasks involving inspection, assembly, and utility work.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs safely and repeatedly as part of daily responsibilities.
  • Willingness to work across multiple departments and adapt to different types of warehouse tasks.
  • Attention to detail when handling, assembling, and inspecting key fobs and related components.
  • Basic comfort working around technology-based processes, such as reprogramming key fob computers, with guidance and training.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
