Job description


As a Senior Quality Control Inspector here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for performing dimensional and visual inspections on in-process, and finished products to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, customer requirements and internal quality standards.
this role requires strong hands-on experience in metrology, inspection methods, measurement systems, and the use of precision measuring equipment. The Quality Technician will support manufacturing, engineering and quality teams by identifying nonconformances, documenting inspection results, and helping drive corrective actions and continuous improvement.
You will report directly to our Quality Control Supervisor and you'll work out of our Arvada, CO location on an On-site work schedule.
Key Responsibilities
  • 1st shift 6:30am - 3:00pm Monday - Friday
  • Perform dimensional inspection, visual, and mechanical inspections of parts, and materials using standard and advanced metrology equipment.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T requirements, specifications and inspection criteria.
  • Conduct first article, in-process, and final inspections to verify product conformance.
  • Assist in developing inspection plans, sampling plans, and work instructions as needed.
  • Work closely with production, engineering, and quality to resolve inspection and quality concerns,
  • Support audits, continuous improvement efforts, and quality system compliance initiatives.
  • Measure, monitor, improve, and control KPI's.

You Must Have
  • 3+ years of QC inspection, quality technician, or metrology-related work in manufacturing environment
  • Strong background in dimensional inspection and use of precision measuring equipment
  • 3+ years of reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Basic computer skills and experience entering data into quality records, spreadsheets, or ERP system.
  • Ability to lift or move up to 35 pounds is required

We Value
  • CMM programing / operating experience using Calypso software
  • ASQ Certification - Certified Quality Inspector, Certified Calibration Technician
  • Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001.
  • Experience with castings, machined components.
  • Experience with administering and interpreting Gage R&R studies
