Job Summary

The ECI Project Manager will be responsible for estimating and pricing projects in their entirety, along with the successful execution of all aspects of projects. They will be working with a Division Manager along with independently managing projects.

Essential Job Functions

  • Estimating/quoting new work with Division Manager.

  • Responsible for coordinating ordering material for sold work.

  • Responsible for coordination of submittal packages when required.

  • Review proposal specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.

  • Prepare estimates by calculating complete takeoff of scope of work and entering items into computer estimating system, review bill of materials for accuracy and completeness.

  • Responsible for the timely completion of all client-required documents including submittals, layout drawings, as-built drawings and operation and maintenance manuals.

  • Responsible to assist with the creation and flow of any change orders during the life of the project.

Required Qualifications, Education and Competencies

  • High School diploma.

  • Fluent in English (written and verbal)

  • Minimum two years in construction related industry, parking industry experience preferred.

  • Working knowledge of general construction practices including: Concrete construction Basic electrical knowledge Trenching and underground boring.

  • Working knowledge of Parking/Access/Revenue and Gate Operator Industries: Parking control systems and layout Access control systems and layout.

  • Attention to detail, focused and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks working in a team setting, as well as independently.

  • Must be courteous, professional, and diplomatic in dealing with customers.

  • Foundational computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and the Internet.

  • Ability to navigate at a basic level within web-based applications.

  • Use of Outlook email and calendaring.

  • Advanced skills with Microsoft applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and/or other web-based applications.

  • Use of online teleconferencing software (e.g., Zoom or Teams).

  • Attend staff, departmental, and other required meetings and trainings.

  • Travel to client or prospect locations, conferences, or other professional development and networking events.

  • Request quotes from suppliers for equipment and materials.

  • Liaison between field, general contractor, customers, and office.

Working Environment and Physical Requirements

  • Work Environment: Combination of office and field environment with frequent sitting, standing, walking, and regular use of computers and phones.

  • Physical Requirements: Regular use of hands for handling and reaching; occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, and climbing stairs or ladders.

  • Additional Requirements: Ability to lift up to 10 lbs routinely and up to 25 lbs occasionally; clear vision (with or without correction) and ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and in moderately noisy environments.
