Operator III - Effingham, IL
Job Summary
The Hand Add Operator is responsible for ensuring the correct ingredients are added to the mixer as per SOP for the Effingham Premix Operation and maintaining micro bin inventory. Possible overtime, must be flexible on weekends.
Job Description
  • Responsible for allocating all ingredients to a batch by scanning the barcode on each product prior to dumping the product in the mixer
  • Dump bags and totes into mixers
  • Before completing the batch, ensure all ingredients have been added as indicated by the mixer prompter.
  • Unloading ingredients off the elevator in a timely manner and staging the pallet for batching
  • Maintain a clean work area
  • Empty all recycling and trash totes
  • Ensure micro bins remain full
Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent
  • Detailed oriented
  • Basic math and reading skills
  • Have reliable transportation
