We are hiring for 3rd shift Machine Packers for our Smyrna, GA manufacturing location.

Job Summary

Supports envelope production and packaging operations by inspecting, counting, labeling, and packing finished products for shipment. Ensures quality and accuracy, maintaining proper workflow, and keeping work areas organized while following safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

These are functions a qualified incumbent or applicant must be able to perform with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Load paper onto automatic hand-fed or web envelope folding machines and pack finished product.
  • Inspect envelope quality, label cartons, and report any variances to appropriate personnel.
  • Review production orders and schedules to determine daily production needs.
  • Complete rework as required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout and at the end of each shift.
  • Follow all safety and quality protocols and accurately complete documentation
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs

Pay & Work Schedule

  • Hourly Rate: $17 - $18/hr + 3rd shift premium
  • 3rd shift premium $1.50/hr / 11pm -- 7am
  • Monday -- Friday; Saturdays required during peak production or as business needs dictate

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Ability to perform quality inspections and accurately read measurements (e.g., ruler).
  • Basic math, communication (verbal and written), and computer skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, safety focus, and reliability.
  • Consistent attendance and dependability are essential.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and alternate shifts as required

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

  • Frequent standing, bending, reaching, and occasional climbing.
  • Ability to lift up to 55 lbs; requires good manual dexterity.
  • Exposure to noise, machinery, inks, solvents, and adhesives.
  • Ability to work in varying temperature conditions and remain alert around equipment.
  • Ability to maintain pace with high-speed production throughout the shift.
  • Work performed around high speed equipment
  • Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Must remain alert and attentive to safely perform functions for a full shift
