Title:Xpak Operator
Department:Production
ImmediateSupervisor:Plant Supervisory Staff
Status:Hourly Non-Exempt
Position Purpose: Operates the XPack Machine
Principle Accountabilities
  • Responsible for the safe, controlled start-up and operation of the XPack equipment including starting the machine, engaging the feed, and observing the operation of the area.
  • Inspects and measures completed pieces to verify conformity to customer production standards.
  • Monitors and adjusts controls to ensure product complies with production standards.
  • Maintains equipment through completion of assigned preventative maintenance tasks and minor repair techniques as required.
  • Records quality and production metrics via written communication methods and within time deadlines as necessary.
  • Performs all work in a safety first mentality and with utilization of 5S skills.
  • Related tasks as requested by supervisor

Essential Skills and Experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to communicate in English.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Basic computer knowledge, AS400, Word, Excel
  • Ability to repeatedly lift up to a maximum of 40 lbs.
  • Area requires use of hearing protection and eye protection.
