Mid-Level Application Packager (DoD Secret Clearance Required)
Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Application Packager with expertise in modern endpoint management, application deployment, and automation within secure enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting Windows endpoint management platforms, including Microsoft Intune, MECM/SCCM, and PowerShell automation, while maintaining compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) security requirements. This role will be responsible for packaging, deploying, and supporting enterprise applications across Windows 10 and Windows 11 environments. Key Responsibilities
Package, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications using Microsoft Intune and MECM/SCCM, ensuring consistent performance and user experience.
Develop and maintain automated deployment solutions utilizing PowerShell and other automation tools to streamline application lifecycle management.
Create, manage, and troubleshoot application deployment packages, updates, and version control processes.
Configure and support Microsoft Intune policies, including application deployments, device compliance, security baselines, and configuration profiles.
Support the integration of Intune with Microsoft 365 technologies such as Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Conditional Access, and Windows Autopilot.
Design and implement Windows 10 and Windows 11 provisioning and deployment solutions using Intune, Autopilot, Enrollment Status Page (ESP), and modern provisioning techniques.
Configure and administer Windows Update for Business (WUfB) policies to ensure secure and timely operating system updates.
Maintain and optimize standardized Windows operating system images using both cloud-native and traditional deployment methodologies.
Collaborate with infrastructure teams to migrate legacy Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to modern management solutions, including Intune Settings Catalog and ADMX-backed policies.
Partner with Active Directory, Endpoint Management, and Infrastructure teams to maintain SCCM/MECM readiness and support enterprise modernization initiatives.
Implement endpoint security controls and compliance requirements, including encryption, endpoint protection, and data loss prevention (DLP) technologies.
Support security incident response activities associated with managed endpoints and collaborate with Security Operations Center (SOC) teams when required.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including packaging standards, deployment procedures, Intune configurations, operating system provisioning workflows, and coexistence strategies involving SCCM and Intune.
Participate in process improvement initiatives and recommend enhancements to application packaging, deployment, and endpoint management operations.
Required Qualifications
Active DoD Secret Clearance (required).
CompTIA Security+ certification (required).
5+ years of experience administering and supporting MECM/SCCM in an enterprise environment.
7+ years of experience developing and maintaining PowerShell automation scripts and deployment solutions.
Experience packaging, deploying, and troubleshooting Windows applications in enterprise environments.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, and modern device management practices.
Experience supporting Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.
Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft 365, and endpoint security solutions.
Understanding of DoD security requirements, compliance standards, and secure configuration practices.
Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in co-managed environments utilizing both Intune and MECM/SCCM.
Knowledge of Azure AD (Entra ID), Conditional Access, and Zero Trust security principles.
Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or government endpoint management environments.
Additional Microsoft certifications related to Endpoint Management, Intune, or Modern Workplace technologies.
