Overview
The Senior Packaging Engineer leads packaging development initiatives from concept through commercialization, supporting new product launches, packaging improvements, supplier qualifications, and cost-reduction programs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in development of primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging systems.
  • Manage packaging qualification, testing, and commercialization activities.
  • Support manufacturing trials, startup activities, and resolution of packaging-related issues.
  • Create and maintain packaging specifications and technical documentation.
  • Drive cost savings, productivity improvements, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Collaborate with suppliers on packaging development and qualification efforts.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance across teams.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
