Job Summary T he Packaging Technician I is responsible for labeling, inspecting, and packaging vaccines while operating packaging equipment to meet target line rates. This role ensures compliance with cGMP documentation, supports quality assurance processes, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to achieve production goals in a safe and timely manner. Key Responsibilities O perate packaging equipment such as labelers, pick-and-place systems, heat tunnels, vision systems, and forklifts Inspect products accurately and efficiently to meet quality standards Perform equipment changeovers and initial troubleshooting for packaging equipment issues Ensure cGMP documentation is complete, accurate, and timely Prepare QA line clearances for small volume lines Maintain a safe and organized environment in compliance with SOPs Cross-train in other areas to meet business needs Communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and management regarding progress, issues, and facility needs Monitor processes against manufacturing records, SOPs, and data capture forms Complete batch tickets and provide feedback on process improvements Support HSE program by working safely, reporting unsafe practices, and following safety policies Required Skills 2–3 years of manufacturing experience Detail-oriented with strong communication skills and quality focus Equipment/process troubleshooting skills Ability to lift up to 35 lbs Basic math and computer skills Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of related manufacturing experience Forklift certification Education Requirements High School diploma required Associate’s degree preferred or equivalent experie nce Education: High School Certification: Forklift certification
