Conformement aux directives etablies et aux bonnes pratiques de fabrication, les principales taches de l'operateur d'emballage comprennent : effectuer toutes les taches liees a la preparation et a l'emballage des produits pharmaceutiques, nettoyer et assembler l'equipement, nettoyer les salles et les zones de travail, et effectuer les inspections et les controles necessaires a l'emballage des produits pharmaceutiques, afin de garantir la qualite des produits emballes.

Conditions:

  • Salaire : 28.96 CA$/heure + prime de quart applicable (1,50 CAD/heure pour les quarts de soir et 2,50 CAD/heure pour les quarts de nuit)

Taches et responsabilites essentielles:

  • Effectuer toutes les taches de preparation et d'emballage des produits pharmaceutiques, nettoyer et assembler l'equipement, nettoyer les salles et les zones de travail, effectuer les inspections et les controles requis pour l'emballage des produits pharmaceutiques.
  • Nettoyage (differents types de nettoyage) de certains equipements, pieces et surfaces (sols, murs, eviers, etc.).
  • Demontage, nettoyage et remontage des equipements sur differentes lignes d'emballage conformement aux procedures et aux BPF.
  • Nettoyage des lignes d'emballage ou de sections de lignes, respect des procedures BPF et des normes HSE.
  • Depannage des equipements pendant leur fonctionnement, comprehension du concept de goulots d'etranglement et hierarchisation des interventions afin d'assurer le bon fonctionnement de la ligne.
  • Verification de l'etat des pieces et/ou des equipements en termes de proprete et d'etat general, ainsi que de la qualite des produits.
  • Tenue d'une documentation adequate (fiches d'emballage, registres, etiquettes de nettoyage, etc.) conformement aux regles BPF et verification de la documentation, en suivant les instructions figurant sur les fiches d'emballage.
  • Manutention de charges. Gestion des dechets (poubelles et/ou dechets pharmaceutiques).
  • Participation a des initiatives d'amelioration continue.
  • Verification des composants. et execution de taches d'assainissement.

Alphanumeric is hiring a Packaging Operator to work in Montreal, QC, with one of the biggest pharmaceutical manufacturing companies in the world.

In accordance with established guidelines and in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, the primary tasks of the packaging operator include: performing all tasks related to the preparation and packaging of pharmaceutical products, cleaning and assembling equipment, cleaning rooms and work areas, and conducting inspections and checks required for the packaging of pharmaceutical products, ensuring the quality of packaged products.

Please be aware we can only hire peoplealready based in Canadawith fully legal and valid documentation to work in Canada.

Conditions:

  • Salary: 28.96 CAD/hour + applicable shift differential (1.50 CAD/hour for evening shifts and 2.50 CAD/hour for night shifts)
  • Employment: 6-month contract with high potential for renewal or becoming FTE
  • Working Hours: Rotational shifts including weekends and night shifts. Must be available to work any shift, as the shifts can frequently change.
    • Day shift: 7am-3pm
    • Evening shift: 3pm-11pm
    • Night shift: 11pm-7am
  • Mandatory to be available to cover all 3 shifts according to the company's needs

Requirements:

  • Packaging experience preferably within a manufacturing environment
  • Mandatory to be fluent in French
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of GMP (an asset)
  • 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or related field (an asset)
  • Mechanical skills (an asset) and computer literacy

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out all preparation and packaging tasks for pharmaceutical products, cleaning and assembling equipment, cleaning rooms and work areas, performing required inspections and controls for pharmaceutical product packaging.
  • Cleaning (different types of cleaning) of certain pieces of equipment, rooms, and surfaces (floors, walls, sinks, etc.)
  • Disassembly, cleaning, and assembly of equipment on different packaging lines according to procedures and GMP.
  • Clearing packaging lines or sections of lines, follow GMP procedures and HSE standards.
  • Troubleshoot equipment during operation, and understand the concept of bottlenecks and prioritize interventions to ensure the smooth running of the line.
  • Check the condition of parts and/or equipment for cleanliness and overall condition, as well as product quality.
  • Maintain adequate documentation (packaging sheets, logs, cleaning labels, etc.) in accordance with GMP rules and verify documentation, following the instructions on the packaging sheets.
  • Handling loads. waste management (trash cans and/or pharmaceutical waste).
  • Participation in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Verification of components. and performance of sanitation tasks.
