Job Description

The Opportunity



  • Packager Associate to package animal diets produced. This includes the
    filling and closing of all products bags, obtaining QA samples, setting
    date-code printer and palletizing the finished product for storage and/ or
    shipment.

    How you will contribute to make a

  • Perform all set up and preparation work prior to
    packaging each diet.

  • Accurately and thoroughly complete all forms and
    documents needed for each packaging run.

  • Operate all packaging equipment and perform operator
    adjustments as needed.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area according
    to the housekeeping procedures and checklists.

  • Other
    duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Ability to frequently lift up to 30# and
    occasionally lift up to 50#, and capable of climbing, bending, reaching,
    standing and walking for long periods.

  • Must be able to work Sunday - Thursday, 10:00 PM -
    6:00 AM.

  • Must have average or better than average math,
    English writing skills for record keeping and English language skills for
    communication with other team members.

  • Must demonstrate the ability to work effectively
    within a work team.

  • Must be able to work in a noisy and dusty
    environment.

  • Must be able to perform repetitive tasks quickly
    and efficiently.

  • Ability to wear all required safety equipment.

  • Successfully pass a physical examination by company
    approved physician.
