Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant)

Location: Greenville, SC Schedule: Full-Time | Standard Day Shift Schedule |



Position Summary

Carolina ASC seeks Advanced Practice Providers (Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants) to support the Interventional Radiologist and the vascular access program. Positions are available for both part-time and full-time roles. The APP will focus on office consultations, post-operative follow-up, and other in-office patient care responsibilities, with potential opportunities for procedure and operating room support based on candidate experience.


Responsibilities

  • Perform office-based patient consultations and evaluations.
  • Conduct post-operative visits and manage follow-up care.
  • Evaluate and manage patients in collaboration with supervising physician(s).
  • Review diagnostic results, update medical records, and ensure continuity of care.
  • Coordinate with physicians, dialysis units, and nursing staff for integrated patient management.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, procedures, and follow-up care.
  • (Optional) Assist in OR/procedure support, depending on training and experience.
Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in South Carolina.
  • Previous experience in nephrology, vascular access, interventional radiology, or surgical specialties preferred.
  • Strong communication, clinical judgment, and patient-care skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification

Schedule & Compensation

  • Competitive salary: $90,000 - $130,000 based on experience
  • Full-Time APP: Standard schedule with a competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Part-Time APP: Flexible scheduling coordinated with practice's needs.

Reports To

  • Supervising Physician/Medical Director
  • Practice leadership and medical director, as appropriate.
