Job description

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst II to support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis activities. This role will work closely with leadership to provide financial insights, monitor performance, and support strategic decision-making.


Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
  • Perform monthly financial analysis and actual-to-budget variance reviews
  • Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Assist with annual budget preparation and financial planning
  • Support grant-related financial reporting and analysis
  • Compile and present financial information to leadership
  • Identify financial trends and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Participate in month-end close activities and special projects


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 2+ years of related financial analysis experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
