Job description

Job Title: Material Handler – 2nd Shift ($23/hr)Job Description

This temporary role focuses on supporting the production of small electronic sensors used in military applications by managing materials, inventory, and product movement throughout the facility. You will work in a quiet, climate-controlled environment, ensuring components and finished goods are handled accurately and efficiently while maintaining production flow and quality standards.

This position runs Monday through Friday, 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. (2nd shift).


Responsibilities
  • Move raw materials, components, and finished products throughout the facility to support production and packaging operations.
  • Supply assembly workstations with necessary parts and materials to maintain continuous workflow.
  • Package, label, and prepare completed products for storage or shipment according to quality and safety standards.
  • Operate hand trucks, carts, or other material handling equipment to transport items safely and efficiently.
  • Track inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment to prevent production delays.
  • Perform basic inspections of materials and packaged goods for damage, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of material movements, inventory counts, and shipping documentation as required.
  • Follow production schedules and prioritize tasks to meet daily output goals.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
  • Adhere to all workplace safety procedures when handling materials and equipment.
