We are locally operated Family-owned business that prides itself on the professionalism and capabilities of our team. We believe in servicing customers first, efficiency, acting with integrity, winning as one and recognizing great performers. We operate 7 days a week, 361 days a year.

We are looking for reliable, independent, flexible, and hard-working people who prioritize safety, are detail-oriented, and can win in a fast-paced environment!

Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, can communicate effectively, and are ready to get the job done. In order to become successful delivery drivers, candidates must enjoy being out on the road driving, putting safety first, and caring deeply about customer expectations and satisfaction, among others.

We are looking to fill both full-time and part-time delivery driving positions at DGE7 2125 Anvil Block Road, Forest Park, GA, 30297.

As a delivery associate, you will be subject to the following responsibilities while loading and delivering customer packages. Delivery drivers are eligible to work up to three to four, Full-Day shifts per week, including weekends and holiday shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Safely drive and perform safety inspections on company vehicles
  • Follow all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, and company policies
  • Successfully handle and deliver packages on time
  • Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events/conditions
  • Keep up with the pace in a physically demanding work environment; work in all weather conditions; lift packages (up to 50 lbs.); get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations
  • Communicate effectively with the support team to provide exceptional customer service and to ensure deliveries are completed
  • Use a smartphone device for GPS Navigation, to scan packages, to conduct administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and to communicate with supervisors and other team members
  • Load and unload packages to and from the delivery vehicle
  • Support the team in daily work requirements such as through participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routes
  • Always conduct oneself in a highly ethical manner
  • Show excellent attention to detail
  • Solve problems independently using critical thinking skills
  • Work in a self-directed environment with an upbeat attitude

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have a valid driver’s license (CDL not required)
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Must pass Drug Screening
  • Must have a clean motor vehicle report (multiple violations may disqualify you from the position)
  • Have and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Fluent in English (bilingual/multilingual is a bonus)
  • Able to complete mandatory training
  • Available to work weekends and holidays

Physical Requirements

  • Lift a maximum of 50 pounds during an 8 to 10-hour work shift
  • Appropriately handle stressful driving demands including inclement weather conditions
  • Climb stairs, reach overhead, squat/bend/kneel during an 8 to 10-hour work shift
