About us:

Optimum Delivery Service, LLC is a locally owned and operated Amazon DSP, Delivery Service Partner. We are currently seeking self-motivated, hard-working, friendly, outgoing and kind Delivery Associates/Delivery Driver's to deliver Amazon packages to local residents and businesses. You will be provided with Paid training, and all of the equipment and the delivery vans to ensure you're delivering the Amazon packages safely and with a smile.

Package delivery experience is a plus but is not a requirement; it is our job to teach you how to deliver packages and utilize the technology required to deliver those packages while driving a our delivery van.

We are seeking reliable, independent, self-motivated, safe, flexible and hard-working individuals who pay attention to details, can problem solve quickly in a wide range of situations, and thrives in a fast paced environment. We are seeking full-time positions as delivery driver associates at our Maple Grove, MN, location.

Job Description

  • Report to work on-time for scheduled shifts. Shift starts promptly at 6:40AM, 7:10AM and 7:40AM
  • Load each vehicle daily prior to each shift in under 20 minutes (Packages are presorted)
  • Safely delivery Amazon packages to businesses and residences on-time. This may require going up stairs (We deliver packages with a smile!)
  • Able to lift packages (up to 50 lbs) and be able to get in and out of a van quickly throughout the day.
  • Drive high-roof vans around the Maple Grove/Minneapolis Metro area, averaging 75-125 miles per day
  • Enter and exit the vehicle at a minimum of 40 times per day, up to 275+ times/day
  • Deliver packages in ALL weather conditions (in extreme weather*, we will suspend routes as Safety is our #1 priority.)
  • Follow GPS to each delivery location (GPS provided)
  • Scan and take an accurate photo of each package.
  • Contact customers when package can't be delivered. Ensure it's marked accordingly.)
  • Must be able to efficiently and safely make 25 stops per hour
  • Assist other drivers as needed
  • Maintain Vehicle Cleanliness throughout your shift and at the end of your shift (Cleaning materials are provided)
  • Fuel vans daily at the end of your shift. Fuel cards provided. Get gas receipt if needed to get gas.

You MUST apply the emergency brake, put the van in park, disengage the seatbelt at EVERY STOP .

  • Pace yourself throughout the day in this physically demanding position. Communicate with Supervisors as needed and complete routes in the allotted time frames established.
  • Must own a Smart Phone, be able to use it proficiently and ensure you always have reliable means of communication.
  • Must be able to quickly problem solve, sometimes independently.
  • Must Wear an Amazon-branded uniform (provided for free once, but required to be returned at the end of your relationship with us)

  • Ability to support the team in daily work requirements including participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routes
