A Day in The Life of a Warehouse Associate

As a Warehouse Associate you will be performing warehouse tasks including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, machine operation, as well as general maintenance of assigned areas. You will be on your feet most of the shift as a material handler, using computers, forklifts, and other types of motorized equipment.

  • Preparing goods for shipment
  • Arranging for shipment pick-ups
  • Loading/unloading trucks
  • Picking items to fill orders
  • Checking goods received, putting stock away
  • General warehouse/yard organization
  • Cutting, spooling wire
  • Operating forklift, pallet jacks
  • Assisting customers with inquiries
  • Safety training, personal protective equipment, and steel toe shoes required for all warehouse positions

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • No experience required/ entry level

This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.

For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan,subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents. For certain sales roles, EECOL also offers a commission structure that provides additional compensation based on sales results, as defined by the applicable commission plan.
