Description
The primary duty of a Production worker is to put together finished products and the various pieces that go together to form finished products on a production line. This may include filling, bottling, labeling, packaging and lifting. This position reports directly to the Production Manager or Supervisor
General Responsibilities:
  • Operates production machinery on a production line.
  • Identifies defective components.
  • Able to perform repetitive tasks.
  • Work on the production line and ensure all products meet specs.
  • Clean the production line as needed throughout the workday.
  • Fill out and maintain logs and all pertinent documentation involving production.
  • Abide by all safety protocols and be reactive to your environment.
  • Maintains logs and records of units produced including a record of errors resulting in rejected or discarded product.
  • Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.
  • Able to perform repetitive tasks.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with little supervision.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Must be vigilant to surroundings to maintain safe environment.
  • Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.
  • Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Adhere to cGMP/SOP's guidelines.
  • Reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds regularly.
  • Must be able to load and unload packages with and without dollies in various types of weather.
  • Must be able to use a dolly and strap materials down.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the primary duties of the job, the employee is regularly exposed to various outdoor and indoor environments (i.e. general office, industrial complexes, food processing plants, semiconductor labs, clean rooms, etc., some of which can be hazardous). Temperature variances, high noise levels, and dusty environments may be encountered.
