Packaging Associate

Full-Time, Non-Exempt | 3240 hours per week
Reports to: Packaging Manager
Schedule: Monday through Friday between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm, with occasional weekends and holidays
Pay: $18.00/hour

Job Summary

Verdes Cannabis is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Packaging Associate to prepare high-quality flower products for retail sale. This role requires accuracy, efficiency and a strong work ethic in a fast-paced production environment. Responsibilities include operating packaging machinery, maintaining accurate records, inspecting inventory and keeping the workspace clean and organized.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and package flower according to established procedures and quality standards
  • Operate and maintain packaging machinery, including Paxiom and other automated equipment
  • Label, audit and organize products for transport
  • Maintain accurate production and inventory records
  • Inspect products for quality and accuracy
  • Clean and sanitize tools, equipment and work areas
  • Restock department supplies
  • Safely climb ladders and stairs as needed
  • Follow all safety requirements and standard operating procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned
