Job description

Urban Paws is looking for dog loving pack leaders to supervise and manage large groups of dogs to ensure a safe and clean environment. This position also includes the responsibility of keeping the facility clean. Pack leaders must work well as a team player.

Urban Paws is a deluxe dog daycare and boarding facility with a well established upscale clientele.

Responsibilities:

  • Available to work - Monday - Friday 6am - 800pm (two shifts), Saturday-Sunday 6am - 6pm, ALL HOLIDAYS REQUIRED

  • Very reliable transportation - we are located across the street from a DART green line stop
  • Must be comfortable interacting with many dogs of all sizes and breeds
  • Engage in play activities and exercise with the dogs
  • Maintain a clean and healthy environment

Qualifications:

  • Prior Experience working with dogs: 1 year
  • Work well as a team player
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to interact with animals in a calm, non-threatening manner
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Loves dogs
  • Training provided
  • Advancement opportunities available

Required education:

  • High school or equivalent
