About Us
Jackson Tumble Finish (JTF) is a trusted Midwest leader in high-quality metal finishing, serving a diverse range of industries including automotive, heavy truck, fastener, agricultural, structural, recreational, military, medical, marine, appliance, furniture, and plumbing. We deliver every project with precision, consistency, and a strong commitment to meeting each customer’s requirements.

Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Rack & Pack Associate to ensure a steady flow of materials into the production lines. This role requires speed and physical stamina, as parts must be loaded quickly and positioned correctly on the racks to prevent defects during the manufacturing and finishing process. This is a physically demanding role within an active industrial environment, ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, team-driven settings.

Key Responsibilities
·         Pre-Inspection: Check incoming raw parts for visible defects, rust, or debris before and during the loading process.
·         Part Loading: Securely hang, clip, or place unprocessed production parts onto specialized racks, hooks, or processing barrels according to exact guidelines.
·         Spacing & Alignment: Arrange parts with accurate spacing and alignment on racks to ensure consistent coverage during processing.
·         Line Pacing: Match the speed of the production lines to prevent bottlenecks.
·         Unloading & Sorting: Remove processed parts from racks or barrels after processing, then inspect and return them to customer containers or pallets.
·         Safety & Maintenance: Wipe down and maintain racks to prevent residue buildup. Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including heavy gloves and safety glasses. Report any rack maintenance issues to the Rack & Pack Leader or Production Supervisor
·         Quality Sorts: Perform quality sorts of processed parts as directed.

Job Qualifications & Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial environment preferred.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to continuously stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs throughout an 8-hour shift.
  • Technical Proficiency: Basic computer literacy; hands-on experience with barcode scanners and digital inventory systems is a plus.
  • Certifications: Industrial forklift certification is required (on-site recertification provided).
  • Core Competencies: Strong spatial awareness, exceptional attention to detail, and a collaborative team mindset.
