Job description

Position Overview:

The primary responsibility of the Pick, Pack Ship Associate is to accurately pick, package, and prepare products to ship for customer order fulfillment.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Efficiently locate products per order in rack and shelving locations.
  • Accurately pick products to fulfill customer orders in a timely manner.
  • Follow written instructions with acute attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all packing and shipping tasks.
  • Utilize barcoding, labeling to identify correct parts.
  • Pre-packing stock.
  • Route picked orders to destination.


Qualifications:

  • Basic math and counting skills.
  • Ability to read and write in English.
  • Ability to follow written instructions accurately and independently.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure error-free order fulfillment.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Capability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment center preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift items up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to climb ladders up to 16 feet.
  • Ability to crouch and stoop.
  • Ability to walk and stand up for 8 hours per day.


Working Conditions:

  • Warehouse environment with moderate noise from power industrial trucks.
